There are obviously some tools you will require but these can be inexpensive and last a lifetime. If you want to tackle your own windows, you will need; a high quality squeegee, a washer, a bucket, dishwashing liquid, a microfibre cloth and a towel. You can pick these up all for around $60 at any cleaning supplies store.
The key to success in window cleaning is buying a good squeegee and keeping it fitted with a sharp, new rubber blade. If the edge of the blade gets sliced or rounded over from use, replace it immediately or you'll be left with streaks and left over water.

Step 1: Dip the washer in a solution of 1 teaspoon dishwashing liquid to approximately 8-10 litres of cool water. Squeeze any excess water from the washer
